Volunteer Partner Highlight: Bonnie Foos

“I really enjoy bringing my time and talents to the table for missions that I care deeply about…I love my work with SVP and hope it shows,” said Bonnie Foos, “I have a passion for the people I serve.”

Bonnie’s relationship with SVP CT began in 2021, and has played an important and impactful role in SVP CT’s partnership with Building One Community (B1C) as a volunteer partner. Together, Bonnie, the staff at B1C, and the rest of the SVP CT team work to refine programs that help B1C level up its workforce development efforts. This collaborative effort aims to not only help B1C bring about positive changes within the organization but also create additional pathways for individuals who have been excluded from traditional job training programs across the state of Connecticut. “I get to make a difference and I get to learn from incredibly capable people,” said Bonnie.

Bonnie is an analytics, measurement and evaluation expert for a consulting firm based out of their Stamford office. She brings a varied career experience to SVP, particularly in the areas of public health and hospitals, government, and corporate L&D. As a daughter of refugee parents and a first-generation college graduate, she also strives to contribute a diverse perspective in her engagements. You can also find Bonnie hosting a cookbook club dinner, trying to save her vegetable garden, or hiking the state’s beautiful trails with her husband and toddler son in tow.
