Career Resources, Inc.

Career Resources, Inc. (CRI) takes a multifaceted approach to helping end joblessness for Connecticut residents. CRI empowers adults and youth with the learning opportunities and skills necessary for personal development, career advancement and economic independence.

Founded in 1995 as an offshoot of the Workforce Investment Board, CRI was created to increase the quality of direct services provided to those most in need. On this front CRI has proven unique in the field of workforce development, going beyond job placement to also include basic education programs that support client’s attitudinal readiness. Further, the organization is Connecticut’s only workforce development-focused nonprofit offering both non-residential programming for the general public as well as residential reentry work release programs.

CRI administers several programs that address varied employment challenges in the state.
